AGAIN, it was only to get the car overseas without paying sports car taxes and then it was converted back:

Wow, I never knew GM did this. Do you have any more details?

This pic above looks just like what you need for a killer sound system. You make the cabin smaller, put your amps and storage in the back and then put your subs in the cabin. Sealing the back area will really make a difference in sound quality and SPL. Gives me some good ideas.

Why the hell not?? Everyone these days seems to go crazy for conversions and crossovers.
