Default Firebird Fender Gap

Hey I have a 1999 firebird, and i have been noticing a gap on my passenger side fender crack, it seems to be a bit bigger than the drivers side, I am almost positive there used to be a thread on how to fix this, and that it is caused by improper placement of the jack when liftin a car, but I cannot find it. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

i have the same problem, look under the fender, see where it bolts
down, you are supposed to bend that striaght, and its supposed to pull the
fender back in.

I know this is an old thread but this gap is really bugging me, does anyone have any idea how to fix this? I think blown TA misunderstood me, the gap is between the fender and the passenger door..

Off topic, but are those factory ground effects? That car looks really slick.

The way to fix it is to loosen the fender up, and move it to were the gaps right, then tighten it back up. Chances are that you will end up making it look worse though, leave it alone, or have a pro do it

You should post a pic if you really want help. There's a 99% chance if you have a lateral (side to side) gap mismatch between the fender and the door, that is worst at the bottom, then improper jacking is the problem and we can tell you how to fix that easily.

If the gap is to the hood or at the top of the door or front clip those are all different fixes.
