Fuel Rail Covers....please post your pics...
Fuel Rail Covers....please post your pics... I want some ideas for FRCs. I bought a set intending to use them as a template to make a mold and lay up some with fiberglass. What I want to do is make them say Camaro instead of Corvette and have the lettering match what is on the back of camaros.

I used to do it just for the fun of it as a hobby, ..., but it's become too much anymore. I used like the thrill of the finished product that you can be proud of.
But they are just too time consuming & not profitable anymore.

Im trying to decide if I should attempt to mold my own or sand a fill what I have. The problem with both is that I'm not a fan of the smooth look since the lid and radiator support are textured. Trying to think of a way to cover or remove the corvette letters w/o messing up the surrounding texture. Thanks to GM the fuel rail clips are directly under the letters, lol.

If you want to keep the texture, just fill in the letters and sand smooth. Tape off the surrounding around so you're only sanding a small rectangular area around the lettering. Prime and then paint with some "wrinkle" paint. That gives a textured look and would probably match pretty close.

The more I see the smoothed out ones...the more I dont like them, lol. That's just my preference but I can appreciate the time you guys have into them.

I use the TransAm emblems all the time, the ones on the rocker panel fit perfect. There are no OEM Camaro emblems like that for the 4th Gen but I've used some stainless letters from our sponsors for a raised look. Pretty pricey though considering you need 2 sets.
