can after market mufflers be used do you just have to have the cme tips and the rear valance? where do you guys get the " rounded " ones as opposed to the OEM? or is their even different ones i just heard someone refer to rounded looks better. thanks for the newb questions lol. .... oh and when putting that rear valance on the back end doesnt look like it has a ground effect on it while the rest of the car is without it does it ?

There are two types of CME. 1. Dual Oval Tips and 2. Quad tips. They can be used with ANY exhaust system, even true duals. There is a valence that flows with the body lines and stays close to the body and then there is a valence that sticks out and looks SOMEWHAT like the RS package.

SLP has the valance on clearance sale for $99 plus shipping & the tips are on sale as well for $200 plus shipping.. I got my valance last week, but I'm gonna run the stainless steel tips that were shown in a previous post.

I have no F-ing idea! I've never even noticed that before! Now I have to go outside and look at them!

Well ****. The driver's side tip isn't flush with the bumper like the pass side! But the tips seem to be pretty flush with each other? I guess I need to crawl under there and see if I can get the adjusted right! Thanks for pointing out my flaws to everyone!

CCW SP500s...think of them as IForged Aeros, only without the rivets, and cost about $200 less (for the entire set of 4, not each )

I noticed it before he mentioned it... matter of fact I meant to ask about it. Honestly I have a friend with a black SS that got tapped, rear ended real lightly, and it looked just like that. Hopefully that isnt your case.

Right now the best place is SLP because it is on clearance. If it goes off clearance then I would go with www.lmperformance.com

I don't think so. I crawled under and looked, and it looks like it just wasn't adjusted right when the aftermarket exhaust was put on.
