I bought these for the look of the housing (black bezel, textured glass, like the 1st gen Camaros) and when these lights burn out I am going to replace the bulbs with a hyperwhite so they will be white and bright enough to drive with if I want to.
side note: I have it wired so I can kill all lights EXCEPT the foglights which are on their own circuit if the NEED ARISES !

It's REALLY easy. Go to any hobby store (where they sell odd things for model cars, air planes and such) and get RED TRANSLUCENT spray paint (comes in a little can).
Take your tail lights OFF the car. Tape off EVERYTHING EXCEPT the white and amber lens. This is the most CRUCIAL step in it looking good. You have to follow (and cover) the factory black divider lines perfectly so that just the white and amber areas are covered so it will look factory when you are finished.
Wipe them down with rubbing alcohol (just to clean them, no sanding neccessary) let it dry.
Now, just start spraying. Do a light coat, let it dry, then another one, let it dry. Just TAKE YOUR TIME.
After a few coats hold them up to the light (sun) and see how it's coming. Keep applying coats untill you are happy with the redness, I used pretty much the whole (little) can.
Let it dry, take the tape off and re-install !

Any auto parts store should have them. I saw them at Pepboys, Auto Zone, and Kragen.

All the detail you put into your car was great. Did you change your Whistler headlights for Halos???
I loved the look of your car and wanted my car to look like it came from the same factory yours did but with a different style .
My next mods are ZR28 spoiler and body colored mirrors (all getting painted) and I am DESPERATELY trying to get someone to duplicate the Dick Harrel stripes for my car (without Dick Harrel on them). They are basically old Yenko stripes.
