Default SS wing to Z29

Does anyone know if the Stock SS wing is hollow so that it could be converted to look like the Z29 wing from Mecham?

Yeah I want that wing because of the originality of it and also I have woofers in my hatch and I hate the way the wing rattle because of the two post coming down

If you do it, will you do the work yourself? I can't imagine having the guts to go hacking away away at a perfectly good SS spoiler. But I'd love to see it done.

I was going to say the same thing, isnt the only difference from the 96-97 wing to this Meacham one the tail light? Ive actually been looking for a LT1 SS wing but they are insanely priced, $400!

That's basically the difference. I think the 'flip' on the Mecham is a little more pronounced.

If you think that's an insane price, don't call Mecham. I just bought one and they ain't cheap; but the quality is excellent.

http://www.spoilerdepot.com/Catalog.asp? I'd cut up one of these before I would try to cut up a stock ss spoiler. it has to be painted on anyway.
