Default Newest Vehicle In the Driveway

Well, it's not LS1 powered, but VW power is second to none . Here is the latest project that I've got into. I have most of the parts to finish it out, but I'm trying to come up with some different ideas on things to do in the route of gauges, seats, harnesses, and so on without spending a ton. The only thing I'm mainly hung up on is whether to assemble the 1641 cc motor that I have or to buy a running 4.3 vortec and a $400 adapter plate, then mess with the water cooled setup.

Any ideas on things that you all have seen/done that would work well on this setup (4.3 changeover and interior) that is nice and wallet friendly? I want the thing to look pretty sweet when it's done, so thought the trained professionals of LS1Tech could help me along the way.

I've got a '74 VW Super Beetle that is on it's way as well, so it might post up with it for some ideas opinions before long. While I'm attaching the photos, I'll add one of my girlfriend and LS1 fan, the lovely Amanda (she reads on here from time to time so I have to kiss up while I can, and Iknow the guys on here love to see pictures of women ), and the vicious guard dog that I got last week, Roscoe.

I haven't seen that one yet, but VW does have some freakin' hilarious commercials.
