removing tint
I took the SS to a tint guy, who was like WOAHHHH removing tint is a lot extra..so im like yeah yeah
can I do it myself?? Its already peeling somewhat..if I can save ANY money on a tint job, I'll do it...
Also, the tint on the rear hatch needs to be removed, but Ive heard you can ruin the defrosters if you aren't careful..
ANy help is appreciated
Thanks

what i did for my Camaro when i got it was i heated it w/ a hair dryer. used a razor blade to peel (and my hands)- and a bottle of goo-gone to clean it up. Then i jsut cleaned the window w/ invisible glass. looks perfect now

I pulled my tint. I think the previous owner used some home depot mirror tint. I had a big hazzy spot in the back window. Luckily I left my car in the sun and just started pulling. Unbelievably i got the whole sheat off. i have tried pulling tint before and ruined the defroster. So I think you can get lucky or sometimes it can fight ya.

also depends on how good the tint was, how long its been on, the sun where you live, the cheap parts store tint home jobs usually come off with little trouble, but it's a PITA however you cut it.
