No all you need to do is take out your console and there she is. Not bad at all. Its worth it. Those cobalt guages look good but get annoying on a rainy or foggy night. I also have ran them to a switch so I could cut them on and off as I wished. Thats just another idea.

Nope, I have to get into the dash because that's where my bird's nest of wires (from hooking up my gauges, switches, nitrous, etc...) is to reroute them to a different interior source .

I had to install one more blue led in a switch anyways so it is all good

I really like the looks of the new Ultra Lite II's. Silver during the day, black at night, and a good readable font on them with through the dial LED lighting. Just wish they weren't so expensive. I plan on going with 3 full swing (trans temp, water temp, oil temp) in a triple pillar pod. I think it will come out very clean looking.

I'm not sure what I'm going to go with either...I'm leaning towards Ultra-Lites or Phantom's for the Formy
