Default Redoing Interior

Hey. i have the graphite interior and like the ebony way more. Think it would be easier to buy all the ebony stuff and sell my graphite or paint all my pieces and reupholster the seats? and customize a little more? Or screw it and leave my graphite?

It is hard to find all the ebony parts and not break the bank. You have to be very careful if you think about painting the parts. Its hard to make paint stick to plastic and last.

hmm. id stick with my graphite but i want to incorporate some red as my TA is black with red accents. I have my headrests done with a red bird. Think red o nthe door panels would look good and just get some red birds on my floormats?

I think that would look good and cost less that switching out the entire interior.

So you think doing the insert pieces on my graphite door panels would look good?

Yea those look good, but they kind of look out of place in there, like it needs some more red. What else could be red to make it fit in more?

I'd say do the door panels they will look great with your red accents and then get the floor mats to go along with it.

I've seen many people do them but they usually buy a kit for it.

Ok thanks a lot, im thinking about getting some fabric tonight and working on it over the weekend. Happen to know how to do the bottom of the console as well? I think that would tie it in well! Check the pic in the other thread of the red interior if you dont know what i mean about bottom of console. Thanks!

Ok, well i went out and got the samples to do the doors. They are "Marine vinyl" and look pretty damn tough and flexible. Here you go. My car is black with red accents so i'll prolly go with the red but i threw in a few options.

Also... on that write up. im not liking the cutting of tabs and re-melting them back on. He stated a way to use screws, anyone know how that works and what type of screws are needed?

Also looking for now to do the bottom of my console
