LT1 Tail-light conversion for an LS1......
Does anybody have some type of write-up or instructions on how to make the LT1 tailights fit an 98'+ camaro & have the lights work just like the LT1 cars to where the whole red panel lights up?......

I don't have a write up but can help. I just did a set with my buddy on his LS1 car. He got some LT1 fitted lights with a black background and we made them work.
We took a dremel to the back of the tailights to cut off the tabs that hold the bulbs inplace, then just hot glued the bulb casings in without the tabs.
The lights almost fit but there is forward dent in the metal where the main brake bulb housing sits. To fix this we took a drill with a 1/4 " bit and pulled back the carpet from the inside t-top well. Drill from inside to out (that way the bit doesn't move around it sits into the crease). The metal is to think to beat in without the hole so drill first (just trust me) and then use a hammer and taper the bump back a little.
The taillight should now fit fine and put the carpet back into position and noone will ever know you drilled a few holes in your car!

wires are actually the same, just the bulbs don't fit in the stock housing without a little persuation (sp). just use the dremel and then hot glue. The only way I know you could rewire them is how I did on my old LT1 and that is to have the blinker run from inside out. it flashes through the bulbs, like in a series. it's kinda hard to explain and I didn't really care for the look when I was done.
