Sorry, gotta post it. I'm biased. This is night I put my halo's in. Car's a pig. And yes, I know about the blue lights. I put Silverstars in the highs now. Another pic before halo's underneath.

It looks like the SS-hood is winning. And maybe it is the way to go. If it is, then the factory SS hood ain't the way to go. Check out the underside of RKsport's SS hood:

It's functional, probably lighter (since it's made out of fiberglass), and costs only $535. Now, I can't picture a Z28 with a factory SS hood, but I can picture a Z28 with a functional and lighter, aftermarket SS hood.

I think each hood looks good on certain colors. I would say that the ss hood is the best because it looks good and agressive on any color.
Ultra Z, Sunoco, and cowls: only if I had black, silver, white, or similar colors.
SS on any color.
Mecham only the two port.
Any other hood probably looks gay. Just my honest opinion.
