Well guys my car has almost every badge Dragon has made for a TA. They are definitively the best stainless steel accents around. Now I also have some hood mirrors the "competitor" made. In fact I'm one of the very first clients the guy had. He is a very nice guy to deal with as are Roger and Matt.
My hood mirrors have been on, permanently glued to my Ram Air style hood for almost 4 years too. To be honest they are doing fine without discoloration or yellowing. There is however some spotting, like watermarks that don't come off. These are almost imperceptible and hard to see.
Dragon products are the best stainless steel accents money can buy and when (or if, LOL!) my hood mirrors deteriorate I will shoot an email to Roger and Matt.
Have you guys ever thought of making some nice birds for the area behind the A-pillar??

I thought it would be nice to update this. It finally happened. One of the mirrors deteriorate and awful distortion appeared. This happened after aprox. 3-4 years installed. Car is not a daily driver either and they were permanently installed.
I wrote the guy....Spinner, about the thing and I made it clear I was not looking for any warranty, replacement or anything. I told him i was curious as if this ever hapenned to anyone....the guy ignored me. Well that goes to show you that what dragon said is true. Too bad dragon never made any of them though. It would have a good time to get rid of those POS and get a real nice product and customer support. Matt and Roger rapidly answered my email...as always.
Now i will removed those and possibly paint the hood's underside.
Stay away from those if you can.

Here a picture of my acrylic mirrors I bought from Fred in St. Louis. They have been on car for close to 4 years with no problems WSE. I do like the idea of the stainless ones and would be interested if they are ever available.

thread brought back to life
I haven't heard much from dragonz28 in a long time on here at least since the summer. Last I knew he was trying to sell his VSG Z28 because of a baby.
I would want at least someone to step in and make stainless mirrors. I just don't like the thought of acrylic baking under the hood.

I have a set of laser etched underhood mirrors from Mark @ Spinner - they are semi-permanently attached with 3M Emblem tape.
Been 'baking' under my hood for 5 years now with not a single problem...
