Manul Fan Switches

Alright. Right now I do not want to get a mail order tune, with a exhaust only car. I think I am going to do some manual fan switches. Anyone have a how too? And pictures of were you have mounted your switches?

if you want...you can run a wire from the fan relay 1 and 3 (connecting the skinny blue and skinny dark green wires) and then to the switch..and then the otherside to ground.
this will turn the fans on high, it does set a check engine light bc your are grounding the 2 relays together, but i think its worth the 100 dollars you save.
well, i have a cheapo code clearer, so i dont' mind the check engine light for the time being.

The SLP setup is nice with all shrink wrapped harness and plug and play wiring that looks factory. I have a Camaro so I mounted my switch in one of the switch blanks below the vents in the center. The SLP kit gives you the option of factory operation, fans on low, or fans on high. I picked mine up off the for sale section here from someone who never used it and I saved a few bucks. I think from SLP it's like $70.

Here's my custom one. Mine is tuned to come on early and I can manually turn it on while i'm waiting in the staging lines:

the other LED comes on when I flip it to the town position. Up = fans high Down = fans low

Those ARE wiring schematics. There's all the extra junk in there for the LED's which you don't really need to make it work. Trash the diodes and LED's and it's a lot easier to make work.
