I think it would be cool to have the front like a Raptor and the rest like the Mecham and call it the Mechtor. lol

2 suggestions...I saw before that there was an inquiry for a Superhawk-style hood.

I would love to see the Superhawk Outlaw with the 4 heat extractor ports, that'd definitely be something I'd buy.

My other suggestion doesn't necessarily have the 4 port heat extractors, but...a hood/front clip combo that does away with the nostrils (fills them in), adds the Wings West front clip (but already molded into the front), with a cowl hood that raises the rear of the hood 3 inches but goes down in the front, and is flush with the front clip (no nostrils, again).
Just a thought.

Don't even think about it! Mecham sells nothing but junk! You will definitely regret it. Rex from ASCD has my old hood, and he is going to redesign it slightly and with much better quality. THEN and ONLY THEN get a Mecham style hood.

It is in the redesign stage. It has several problems to fix and a few redesigns in the works

You just answered your own questions. I've heard far too many problems with their hood to even take a chance with it in hopes of getting a decent product.

hmm. i have had no issues with my hood other than getting the waves out. which in itself was not bad on mine compared to others.
guess i got lucky. my fitment was great as well i only had to adjust the headlights some and lower my hood latch.
