Nobody makes them to the best of my knowledge. You can get some LT1 TA lights, take them apart and remove the red lens. Then glue them back up and it can be considered a "clear" lens.

You can't do that with the LS1 tail lights? Just wondering 'cause I didn't know they were made any different, despite the different look.

That looks good on a silver or white car, any other color looks terrible!

I used Silver02TA's car as an example of what the LS1 style would look like....just because he didn't like it

I don't like the clear on it, but that other silver one looks cool.

Nope, I've seen a busted LS1 light and the layers are not seperate. The red, black lines and clear are all molded/bonded together. I can get a pic of the busted LS1 lens if anyone is interested.

I am considering heat forming some clear lexan over the stock lens to make a clear piece, then cut out the stock lens and glue in the new one. I would use LED's in some nice looking pattern and then smoke the whole thing with VHT Nite-Shades. I think it would be badass.

The headlights? Yes, I've written a lot of bad things about them.

I'll share with you all my links on clear taillights, tinting and LED's.

You'll also need to switch to electronic flashers if you use LED lights. I have more info on LED replacement bulbs, but I think you said you wanted to make your own, right?
Also, if you plan to tint the whole thing you don't necessarily need to have clear lenses. The LT1 firebird used solid red lenses. You can take those apart and arrange a custom array of red LED's and then seal them back up. Then tint it a little to make it look nice.

Don't forget that for them to be legal you need some red reflectors in the rear.

Here are some Firebird lights:

Surprisingly, I like that a lot. It just looks right with the cars paint. Not sure It would look good on anything else though. Maybe black?

I like it also.
You could probably make it if you fabbed new clear covers like I mentioned above and then painted the honeycomb design on the outside or the inside. You would still need some good red lights to fill it up though.

Default I like the look

could you please photochop it on a black T/A? I think the reverse lights lens should stay round it looks like the silver t/a has the ls1 lens just the red removed, how do you do that?
thank's alot.
