Thanks... I took so many but I think I had a wrong setting on the camera or something. These are the only ones that came out nice...
Yeah, I've begun to realize that MRM looks OKAY during the day and even pretty fugly at night and under most street lights (gets that "purple" tint).
Dawn or dusk, or full sun but with a little shade (2nd pic), really brings out the most beautiful shades of MRM. Yours looks nice, too.

Can I ask why did you Dawn, BBOY? I know it takes out the wax but doesn't the clay do that? Is the Scratch X for the whole body or just the scratches? I usually put the polish after the wax but your way looks so much better. Sorry if i sound like a newb but I am excited to take my car out in the next week and I want to be sure I know what I am doing.

The Scratch X was definitely not applied to the whole car... Just the hood and trunk and the top of the fenders, etc. ************'s a BITCH to get off.
Dawn is pretty good at taking off wax... It lets the claybar focus on removing contaminants, intead.
If you're using a pure polish (no cleaners or sealants), it won't do much over any wax. It can really nourish and restore oils/minerals in your paint and make it glossy, but it must be directly applied to the clearcoat... Not on the wax.

Yup, you know the drill.
Gotta find the right time... Haven't had a decent camera until now...
5:30-6 PM one of these days will make for an INSANE MRM shot.
