Just fog lights
I love the look when JUST the fog lights are one, and would love to be able to use just my fog lights, and not have to have my headlights on, is this possible?

There's nothing stopping you from hooking them up to a distinct switch, so you can fully control them. Sorry I don't remember what LT1 birds look like but if you have a distinct fog switch you could use it, I'm sure.
Seems to me you should be able to run the parking lights and fog lights, with the headlights down, but I don't know for sure on your car.
If you do direct wire them:
- Hot, fused power wire to the switch.
- Switched output to both fog lights.
- Fog lights grounded to chassis.
Solder and heat shrink all connections for weather proofing, use a heavy enough wire and route it to avoid damage on edges and from vibration. Fused is mandatory just in case it does short out.
It's that easy.

Start the car with the lights off, headlights down (in case your motors are busted). TUrn lights to the FIRST SETTING. Thats parking lights only. The headlights will stay down. Then hit the foglight switch. Youre set. It works fine on my 95. You may have a wiring issue if yours is messing up.
If you do decide to go with foglights only most of the time, you should look into getting stronger/brighter foglights.

I just went out to the car and put the key in the ignition, and turned it to ON, didn't start the car. I put the switch to the middle position, parking lights, and the headlights came up, but not on...
WTF does the motor have anything to do with this? This is a electrical issue, nothing that is different from the two cars, get of your high horse and leave your negitivity at the door...
