Default silver mesh in front bumper area...

Ive seen some cars (camaros) with a silver mesh in the two holes that show ones you remove the ugly plastic grille. any one knowhow i would go about doing it?? and where could i buy the mesh at? it seems to me that the front bumper might need to come off but im not sure.

you can get the alum mesh @ home depot for cheap.

is it the diamond shape hole mesh at HD? and does anybody know where i can get something closer to round holes?

im thinking to put some silver or black mesh in the 2 holes from the front grille... haven't decided but still working on it!!

i put some silver mesh in the hood but dont now jet about the front grill!!

This is what my front looks like. I went to the local auto parts store and bought some imports stuff they had. Looks GOOD!

the alum diamond shaped mesh you can get at HD for cheap. You can the the mesh w/round holes in it from McMaster Carr for alot of $$$$.

I did mine with ricer mesh from Autozone. Cut it to fit and just kinda worked it in there.

i found them on ebay a while back...needless to say i took them off and went back with the stock ones.

Where did you get that from? Im contemplating doing the same thing, and if its a "homemade" job, I can save a trip to Autozone/Lowes/HD and pick up some of this

I bought my mesh from McMaster-Carr...it's the same size as the mesh on the brake cooling ducts of the C5 Z06...I don't remember it being very expensive at all...

you can fill the holes with fiber glass, but its better with a kind of plastic, that in the body shop use!!!
