Default Console cubby hole block off plate...(help)

i looked around, but coudn't find anything....

...i'm looking for whoever was making those "plates" that went in place of the "cubby hole" on the LS1 style consoles. They were blank plates that went in place of that cubby hole and people were putting switches and **** in there. I'm looking for one of the blank ones in ebony...anyone help me out?

oooh...that's nice. I would love something like that, and the cup holder and ash tray filled in and all, the only problem is the color matching and the fact that you would no longer have the texture of the plastic anymore....

...any more pics of that?

If you are going to put switches in anyways, just get a vert plate and hack it up. That'll end up looking more stock then anything. The switches are also pretty similar so you could use a fog light, asr, window, lock, or top switch if one of those happens to match what you want.

Another option you may have not considered is that there are four switch openings in the radio bezel. Two of which are occupied by the Camaro emblem. Again you can just drop in additional fog light or asr switches and wire them up for a very good stock appearance.

No, it's not for switches or anything like that. I want to put my Firehawk plaque there instead of on the ash tray...so i need a nice clean piece...kind of like the picture that was posted a few above...

I like how you put the SS on it...I really like that.

Isn't that where the traction control on/off switch goes on cars equiped with it? I just use my hole there to hold my wallet haha.

I thought that was where the convertible top switch was? Did TA's put the TCS there as well?

You might want to get the panel that had the vert switch in it and just cover over that hole. Much smaller hole to fill.

I'd love to do something like that but smooth out the ash tray area...making it uniform. No way of keeping it textured lke the oem plastic hu?
