Cleaned engine bay and interior 56k=boooo
Car show coming up Saturday, so I spent all day yesterday washing it, all day today cleaning under the hood and the whole interior. What do you think?

You're gonna take off the wheel cover for the show right?
Do you have floormats? Why does the fuse cover look black? And last question is is there some orange string on your e-brake?
It looks good though but it seems like the T-shifter is out of place color-wise, even though you outlined the stereo the same way. But again, looks good.

Fuse panel is black, I was trying something out, andit was to hard to make it look good. I decided to use to fuse panel cause the doors are always shut besides when I get in and out. Wheel cover stays on, too hard to get on a off. The orange string on my e-brake is my air freshener, I hate them hanging from the mirror. I have floormats, mom was cleaning them as I snaped these quick pics.
Engines not supposed to be shiney, just clean, It is as clean as its gonna be. The car isn't gonna be looked at much anyway, it never is. Only reason open the hood is to let the passer bys know it really is a Trans Am, not a clone V6.

Its a free show. Any classic car and any modern muscle car can get in. I have entered it before, theres all kinds a T/As, Camaros, and Firebirds in it, all generations. And out of the 4th gens mine is always the best looking. Theres some cars that enter that are plain nasty looking but thaey are project cars in the works. They don't give awards or anything, its just a show for fun. It's the Somernites Cruise, its been on Horse Power TV twice. Its fun and my cousin is entering his Trans Am too.(1998 model) The car needed all this detail work anyway, I didn;t just do it for the car show, but that convinced me to go ahead with it.

I like going to car shows and seeing the cars that were driven there and are driven on the road just as much as I like seeing the garage queens that rarely see the light of day. So I think it looks fine as is.

BDR, ignore what SGT0704 said, NO BEER FOR YOU! ! !
I see you're 19.
I agree though that your engine compartment needs more cleaning if you're going to have the hood open. Admittedly, I am no expert for car shows, and I HATE the word 'bling' but the effort in a proper cleaning pays off. Simple things like wiping down all the engine compartment plastics with Dow Scrubbing Bubbles Foam, making sure there is no rock or debris damage from the belts slinging stuff around in there, like getting a USED toothbrush(s) to get the nooks & crannies. Same effort in cleaning the interior, making sure the panels are all the same color and condition, aligning the vents all the same direction. . .
You get the point. You have a georgous car and there is no reason it shouldn't do well if cleaned nicely.
Enjoy the free car show w/your car!

What else can I do? Some tips would be nice, not just..."it needs more work." That tells me very little. Myself I think its very clean for a car with 78,700 Miles and thats almost 10 years old. However, if you think it needs more, tell me where and I shall continue to clean.
Thanks for all the input though guys. Anything that will help it get looked at more I am all for it.
