Default Custom Trans Am pics.....

I am almost finished with my Trans Am and just wanted to post up some pics.....We shaved the door handles, shaved gas tank cap (relocated the filler neck), one piece tail lights, shaved pontiac logo and rear bumper lines, shaved front license plate cover, 18/9" CCWs, custom stereo (amps visible in the back window until the tint goes on) and the color is black pearl with candy apple red over top. You cant see all the metal flake in the pics and they arent the best but you all will get the idea....

Actually my buddy did all the body work but it was a 2 part/tube epoxy that uses its own apllicator gun, that basically becomes felixible plastic. The name of it slips my mind right now though sorry.

Those aren't tail light covers...

They fiberglassed the tail lights into one piece then sprayed them in the same black/cherry paint that the rest of the car is in...

They also taped off some of the honeycombs to change the appearance of it... added sequential wiring to it as well...

Nope, they smoothed and painted the interior pieces the same color as the exterior...

tail lights are sweet love the idea
the front bumper looks ok but you should have left the bird in the middle and molded the edges.

and the epoxy I think is duramix it great stuff very very strong

Whatever they are, the little circles are just not flattering whatsoever.

Where did you relocate the filler neck to? Looks real good but I think I would have kept the bird on the front bumper

Inside under the speaker grill. Pop the hatch to fill it up, just like with a fuel cell.

I think they had concerns that if they just filled in the gap around the cover it would eventually flex and crack so it had to be COMPLETELY replace with a replacement piece of urethane (hence no more bird)...

He can always have a 'Bird added... he tossed around the idea of a True-Flame bird... looks pretty slick with no markings at all though...
