Need help with crap on paint
Hey i have this crap on my front bumper, its kinda like a road grime that doesn't come off. I tried meguiars cleaner wax but that did not work. My car is also dirty and there are bugs on it but its all the little white smudges on the front bumper. What do you suggest to get it off.[IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG]

Try the clay bar first. It looks like some bugs are thrown in there too - you shouldn't be even thinking of wax without a properly prepped surface! If the clay bar doesn't do it for you (and it should), you may have to turn to some mild abrasives.
Let us know if the clay bar can't tear that junk off.

Try some Bug and Tar remover from your local auto store. Then buy a claybar and go over it. Work over it continuously with that (might take a couple tries at it) and once you have it feeling like glass, give it a good wax.

Sometimes if you leave squashed bugs in the sun, acid in them eats away in the clearcoat. So if the claybar doesn't get all of it I would say you're pretty much screwed

Hey man I've got this stuff made by Gunk, called Tar&Bug remover. It works alwsome and won't hurt your clear coat. I used it to remove tar from my car that the previous owner had gotten on it. It does the trick and only cost me $1.99 at O'rielys
