Two appearance questions 
I'm debating on painting my calipers Red or Black. I think Red would stand out better with the SS badging. Also in the 2nd Picture the plastic mesh piece that is circled really bugged the ever living **** out of me last night when I looked at the front and my car is shiney except that piece. I was thinking of painting it gloss black to make it more shiney and a more subtle look to the over all car.
Anyone paint that mesh piece before and want to post some pics?
Red calipers would look good, although alot of people have them already(Me included) but they do look good!
Just paint the hood insert with that Fusion paint for plastic and if you go gloss black it will virtualy disapear unless you look right at it, instead of standing out.

Painted mine Chrome with Dupli Color shown in first picture. Turned out great, but now its chipping off. I'm going to recoat it, then put some clearcoat protectant on it.

Maybe if you continue the black with red accent theme you could paint it red. This pic isnt the greatest but it gives you an idea.

Given only those two choices for your car, I'd go with red on the calipers, black would be somewhat pointless behind black wheels. And I'd leave the mesh in and just gloss it.

red definentely...take it from me.. i had black calipers with a silver bracket for the longest time and no one even could tell i had them painted... now i have them red and thats was the best choice i ever made...it looks great

I was honostly thinking polished to go with the rims for the calipers untill I read a thread that polishing it could possibly weaken the calipers and cause breaking.. I just don't want to chance it.
Red to accent the trim and paint that mesh chrome. If it were my car...I wouldn't have red on it at all. I'd have silver or chrome accents and i would polish the calipers. It'll still look good though.
