got my MBA polished MAF ends in the mail, got a ? though i bought these from a non sponsor on ebay....theyre made by MBA which unfortunately is out of business...they are beautiful, the picsture is actually pretty bad and does not show any of the shine...theyre awesome...however, they didnt come with a screen!
I have heard mixed reviews about a descreened MAF....i bought these for some bling factor to go with my NW 90 TB, but i dont want to wind up hurting anything for an $80 item....
what do I do....I started the car with it on today and it ran fine BTW

That's the whole idea behind a ported MAF ends, no screen and no divider. I had some Thunder Racing ported ends for a while and car seemed to lean out a lot and I kept hearing "pinging". Went back to stock MAF ends and just had them polished.

got me a polished MTI throttle body today and im doing the same thing...just polishing the stockers..heard to much crap about the ported MAF ends and dont want the hassle..
i guess if it works for you then great .. for the most part its hit or miss with them some cars like em and some dont. just run it with em for awhile and see.

thats what im going to do iots not a daiy driver, and wonce heads and cam is in i will get a tune....and well see what the tuner thinks....i ran the car today felt fine acted fine....what things shoudl i be looking for as far as down sides????
