Default couple new pics of the maro

Inside the garage pictures (look 100% better than the outside pics)

Outside pictures (all the swirls)

I need some advice, I've heard both stories about buffers, that they add swirls , and that they remove them?? I'm only 16, and can't afford to buy a new buffer, so what can I use to remove these swirls to make the car look better? Will any kind of wax or anything work on this? Please help.

Thanks,
Caleb

It's hard to tell how bad your swirls are from the pics (I guess that's a good thing - they aren't that bad). But it looks like following this without the PC part will still help you though. It will just take a lot more elbow grease. The right tools make all the difference. Good luck.

BTW, I use Meguiar's 3 step process on mine with a buffer.

Step 1- Paint Cleaner (removes big scratches)
Scratch X by hand on tought spots
Step 2- Paint Polish
Step 3- Wax (substitute wax of choice) I use Gold Class

No offense but I think your parents are OUT OF THEIR MINDS! 325 HP at 16? I'd be dead right now. Hopefully your more responsible than I was at 16. Respect the power my friend or you will soon be wrapped around a tree. I see 5-7 of these come in every month totally destroyed. These cars break lose with very little warning and when they go, THEY GO. Ok, I'm done now. Nice car BTW

You own a black car. Your car shows swirls worse than any other color IMHO. You can try stripping all the way and then using a swirl remover by hand but I agree with the folks who say the PC D/A is your best bet but it's tough to get them all out on any dark car. I actually wet sanded my car right after I bought it to get the swirls out and then I only hand wax it and after 2+ years she is still mostly swirl free. I don't have it quite as bad but I think NBM is second only to black in showing swirls. I also wouldn't suggest wet sanding unless you have someone who is an expert working with you.

Parents payed for it, and now i'm paying them back. Working alot etc... Otherwise than that, I wouldn't have the car. No the family isn't rich, just in debt unfortunately...But thanks for the comments guys, I just gotta get rid of these stupid *** swirls, they're driving me crazy...and as for location, I live in Athens, Alabama. It's about 30miles southwest of Huntsville, Alabama.

A poor man's fix is to lean toward ScratchX. Get out some terry cloths or microfibers, turn on the garage lights (incandescent light is good at highlighting paint imperfections), and start rubbing. You'll get all the swirls out with SX, but you better be damn motivated!

Personally, I'd stop driving for a month and take the money I saved on gas and put it toward a PC 7336/7424 and find Meg's #83 or order Optimum Compound/Polish.

If it doesn't cost money, it's gonna cost you insane amounts of free time and elbow grease. Good luck.

Appreciate the advice on the swirls and paint stuff guys, glad someone actually read that instead of just flaming how I am 16.. I think for right now, i'll just do the by hand scratch x. I only work 35hours a week so I have free time on my hands, and nothing better i like to spend it on, my 2 girls. Once again, thanks for the advice.

Caleb.

Hmm...Don't see anyone flaming you for being 16. Most of us (me at least) are just jealous cause when we were 16 we drove around in a POS if we were lucky to have anything at all to drive. Spend a lot of time here and you'll eventually get flamed for something and it is nothing like anything above.

Nice car, time for some chrome rims. As far as swirls go, your best bet is a PC, but if you dont have one, just keep trying polishes and waxes untill you find what works best for you. But like others said, it aint gonna come out easy, gonna take alot of elbow grease, good luck and BADASS SS.
