paint similiar to chrome?
I have a firehawk hood going on my car real soon. I want to have the outline of the bird painted chrome on the bumper crest and the vents and rear heat extractors painted chrome. The only thing is I want them to match my stainless steel side vents by dragonz28. I don't think hes makin stainless vents for this hood. Is there a product that my body man can use on these plastic pieces that will get them very close to one another and be professional looking.

I pm'd him this link that has paint that comes out like chrome. They also have black chrome, brush aluminum, and various other type of paints that you dont see everyday. Its a nonsponsor site, to the best of my knowledge, so I cant post the link.

You can post a link since no other sponsor is selling or doing that kind of product.

(I've posted links to all of these companies in various threads.)
Here are three companies producing chrome paint:
Alsa's Mirra Chrome

(Pic of 50 Cent's new Lamborghini Murcielago with this paint
Motostorm Chrome

Spaz-Stix Mirror Chrome

All three of these paints would work well for the outline of the Firebird on your front bumper. However, for the grill inserts you may want to consider this instead:

Completely indistinguishable from real chrome. It can be applied over anything too: plastic, wood, stuff that's been painted, you name it. Only difference with going this route is that you can't buy this stuff outright: it needs special equipment to apply it so you'd have to send your parts to them so they could do them in-house. The nice part though is that the finish comes with a 3-year warranty.
Hope that helps.
