Default SS Grille Install

I'm thinking about installing a SLP SS grille but I'm not sure what's involved in removing and replacing the OEM unit. Any special tools needed or is this a straight forward process? Thanks..

I suggest removing the bumper. That will allow you to remove the speed nuts holding the old grille on and make it easier to drill new holes for the new SLP grille. The job can be done without taking the bumper off but you risk the possibility of damaging your paint by the "grab and yank" approach and it is very difficult to drill the new holes needed for the new SLP grille with the bumper still attached unless you have access to a right angle drill. I did mine without removing the bumper but if I had to do it again I would just remove it.

Some have attached the SLP grille using double sided tape but that is an expensive piece to have fall off on the highway and run over IMHO.

I did mine on the car and it turned out great. Helps if you have a right angle drill.
