Default Whats works to take bug guts off?

I spent 3 hours yesterday waxing my t/a & I went out last night, now I have bug guts on the front. My question is what type of cleaner can I use that won't remove the wax?

Thanks for your help.

That would take off the wax though won't it?

sorry .. I should have been clearer with my answer ..

claying itself will not remove wax .. what happens is that when the clay removes the bonded surface contaminants, it will remove the wax that was over those contaminants. if your surface was properly prepared, as in washed, clayed, polished sealed and waxed, then all of the contaminants are above the wax, and therefore claying will remove only the contaminants. (talking about short term stuff, like bug guts, tree sap, etc)

for example, on my car.. since it has been clayed, then sealed and waxed, when I use the clay bar to remove bug guts, there would not be a need to rewax .. (although I would anyway, since I am a bit compulsive.)

so the answer is not as simple as it will or won't .. sorry if I was too vague.

Claybars are used to remove oxidation, polish, old wax. It is what we detailers use to start with a clean slate and then move onto the polish stage if needed and then seal the work in with a wax or sealant. Claybars are excellent at removing bug stains.
