I havn't done it on an f-body yet but will as soon as I get my momo hub.
I think it should be pretty simple. First you need to remove the airbag which should be held in place by some screws on the back side. Then it should have a big nut which you need to remove and you might need a wheel puller from the local autozone. they rent them out. Just start removing stuff and be carefull on what you remove and remember how it was all put together.

It's really simple to do as mentioned above, just remember the orientation of the clock spring assembly (I think it's actually written on it just incase you forget). It can be remove with any standard puller kit. I just used an elcheepo puller from Harbor Frieght.

Here's my Grant Evolution GT. http://nitrousfedmuscle.com/images/steeringwheel.jpg .

Do you mind sharing where you got the steering wheel from and does it come with everything you need to install it? Also if you don't mind how much did it cost?

I just installed my wheel yesterday, it is very similar to the grant evolution wheel. It is the Pilot wheel, made by APC and uses the same grant adapter kit. All you need is the wheel and the adapter, the adapter I used is the grant GM adapter 3196. You just need a steering wheel puller to get your old wheel off and you might need some washers to space the hub a little further out if needed. I was worried it was going to be a hard job, but actually it went really smoothly and I had the old wheel off and the new wheel on in within an hour and 15 minutes. It is a nice upgrade and it looks great having a smaller wheel. You can also use the detachable kit that grant makes, however the only problem is you loose the horn, mine I was still able to retain my horn. I will have to try and get a few pics this week and post.

It's a Grant Evolution GT, black on black leather. With the 3196 adapter kit it was about $220 shipped from Jeg's.

Quick update ...

This is a serious pain in the *** for someone who has never done this before.

That being said everything apart, the new lock cylinder is in, and now it is a matter of putting everything back together
