Default Clear side markers (not corners)

The ones that go in the back. They used to be all over ebay. From what I read (I think through a search here) the company that made them put DOT on them and they where not certified so that squashed that.

Can you buy them anywhere currently? I think they would go great on a pewter car.

Bummer.. I was looking for some too, but they're out of stock. And $50 sounds a bit high for some bulbs and lenses?

Yeah they are sold out and price is steep. The ones on ebay where cheap IIRC. Hell I paid like half that for my clear corners.

Afterthoughts does not have them any longer. I ordered from them back in April and they called me to say the manufacturer stopped making them because they were stamping them with "DOT aproved" and they were not. I managed to find a set with the help of another member for 33.00 but they are long since sold out. I don't think anyone has found any in a while. If there are stores that still have them I'm guessing they they are older stock.

I got them on my car and I typed in Camaro Clear for the search on ebay and there were like 7 different lights on there.

Thanks! I was searching too specific, they are bumper lights, or signals, though the prices are not that low, id probably just go with the sponsor, at least you know who your dealing with.

If you find them let me know I've been searching for some since May. I did find a site on how to make yoru own but I they are slightly different than the clear becuase it uses that plastic sheet used to cover flourescent bulbs in the house.

Will these actually fit the rear bumper on a Trans Am? I figured if I bought them they would end up being too short because I think the ones in the rear are longer than the front...

no they won't actually. The rear bumper lights on t/as are longer. I learned that the hard way. I ordered THOSE exact same lights on ebay thinking it would fit the firebird models but they didnt. They were shorter. However, those same lights could go in the front bumper of 98-02 t/as.
