Official New Look Photoshoot Thread
The car and wheels are still a little dirty but I got a chance to snap some decent pictures. No access to the D50 this time so I had to make due with a Canon Elph point and shoot. Between the dirty car and the camera the pictures really dont do the car justice but they give you a better idea than the crappy sneak peek pictures.
Thanks go out to...
Nine Ball - I've never been huge on the black wheel bandwagon, but seeing your HOSS with the black TTIIs and then seeing your C6 with the black wheels changed my mind and the look started growing on me. The wheels on your C6 inspired me to look for something similar for my Trans Am but that was a task and a half to find something in my budget. I ran across these though and snatched them up.
Ransom & ProjectCamaro - You two guys reaffirmed that black wheels on a red car with black accents would look good so I bit the bullet and went for it. Very glad I did.
DVST8OR - Seeing pics of your car sold me on these tires (the BFG DRs). Very glad I did. Awesome tires and they look very nice from the rear as well.
Mods: Please lock down the sneak peek thread if you dont mind. Thanks.

That black and white rendition looks awesome.
Now I'm left with the delimma of whether I CETA the canopy (side mirrors and roof bar). I can really see how it would tie the whole look together but I'm just not sure if it works as well on TAs as it does on Camaros. Also dont know about the calipers but I'm leaning towards going red with them. I do like the more subdued look of the black calipers but the red would pop and really help set the wheels off.
Thanks a ton for all the compliments guys. I really appreciate it. And the best part... I picked them up off ebay for $750 shipped for the four wheels. The tires costed more than the wheels did.

Ah, the Ruff Racing 278's. Beautiful!!!! My chrome 18's have been on order for over 4 months. Word has it that they actually shiped mine recently. Expect pics soon. All photoshopped on other pics of my car because my car is now a complete wreak....from prep work for a paint job.

Continue the black on the roof and mirrors, it'll tie in beautifully. And do the calipers red with black lettering. It'll stand out MUCH better w/ the black wheels, and really pop and draw a little bit more attention to them in pics or at shows.
Great ride. You can really tell you've thought about flow, and how subtle can really go a long way.
