Interior Modders: Time to Show Off!!!!
Everyone always posts exterior mod threads...so I figured why not get everyone to post up their interior mods (in one single thread).
My personal opinion: I love my '02 WS6 Interior.....the design is awesome!
However, the materials they used sucked.
The plastics crack and stratch very easily, etc
The quality of the leather wasn't really that great, etc
I'm thinking of going with a more high end european design:
High quality Leater wrap the dash, door panels, seats etc
Do Suede inserts in the seats and door panels
Paint some of the interior accents silver (ebony interior)
Post up your best mods....ESPECIALLY those who have done Leather or Suede stuff to their interior.
All interior mods welcome:
Lighting, shifters, leather, suede, guages, computers or anything goes

I do not have pics yet but am in the process of finishing mine up. The rear hatch speaker panels, rear seat speaker panels, lower center console, part of the doors, the a-pillars and plastic floor sills will be painted in Dupont Automotive high gloss black. The top of the center console, plastic piece around the guage cluster, ac and radio trim, non-black parts of the door, glove box door and plastic piece under the dash under the steering wheel will be Dupont Automotive Sebring Silver. I'll have brand new lightweight black carpet, Sparco seats upfront w/ harness, reupholstered black rear leather seats with silver inserts, 10 point cage and a Sparco steering wheel (who needs airbags with a roll cage and a harness???). Like I said, this is a work in progress. I probablly have another month or so to go, I'll get pics when I'm done. I'm more for a race-style interior than a German/Italian luxury car interior. I'd like to see some pics of it though!

White and blue katzkin seat covers to match the white exterior and blue stripes, blue in the door panels, black carpet, silver guage overlays, black steering wheel from an '01 (still has grey '97 airbag).
I'm planning to do some tasteful chrome/aluminum touches and cover some stuff in leather sometime in the future.
here's a pic

Everything used to be grey/cloth...I changed the carpet, did leather seats, and a suede headliner/door panels, the only thing I regret is painting the interior pieces....looks ok, but I gotta get it back to looking fairly stock.
as for the carpet on the doorpanel, just used some dye, came out real nice...whatcha think?
