Default Harwood 2.5" cowl hood vs. VFN 2" cowl hood...

I would like to know which hood you like better for the 98-02 Camaro, as I have finalized my choices down to these two hoods. I think cowl hoods look best on Camaros. Well, which one do you like?

Harwood Camaro Hood, 2.5" Cowl, Bolt-On - $473

VFN Camaro Hood, 2" Cowl, Bolt-On - $400

So which one is it? Also, any pics of these hoods on 98-02 Camaros is greatly appreciated.

I like the VFN but without the centerline. I think it is available both ways. No centerline looks much smoother.

I like the VFN, the other one just looks too wide...and it doesn't even have the center line,,,,it doesn't match the front bumper

I say the VFN. The Harwood looks better in that picture than it does on a car. Search the posts made by "Demonbird" he showed some pics just recently of the Harwood painted and on a few cars, in my feable opinion it does not look good installed.

XtinctZ28 has the VFN Sunoco Hood and it looks awesome and the quality and fitment are a lot better than the other hood he tried. I know he doesn't want it to get out about the Sunoco hood but it does look very good

You don't like the Sunoco hood?

I think it does the curves of a Camaro more justice.

Yeah, I like it. I just want a hood that not everybody has, and I really like the 2-3" cowls.

The more I think and look at these two hoods on Camaros, I like the VFN better. I agree that the Harwood look nice, but once installed, it doesn't fit all that great. I've heard nothing but great reviews with VFN hoods, so I think I'm going to go with them. Anyone got pics of their 2 inch cowl on Camaros? Thanks.
