Default Claybar w/o the kit?

Hey guys I need to claybar my car before I leave for college but I checked pepboys and they only sell it w/ the detailer and wax.. which I already have and thats like 19 bucks. Any other places that would sell it individually?

Yeah you can get the clay bar on its own online, like zaino and such but they cost just as much as the kit form the autoparts store. Then you figure in the shipping and you're paying just as much or more. I was trying to find the bar by itself also but just said screw it, I'll just use the quick detailer more often to use it up.

As mentioned already they only come in kits.. Mainly due to the fact people might try to use a clay without any lubercation..it's sad but true. And online is about the same with shipping.

I know Autozone sells claymagic for about 12 for just the clay and detail spray.

not sure of the make up of the clay and how it differs, but have you tried going to a hobby store to find some non-dyed modeling clay?

no .. bad detailer .. bad detailer... do NOT use modeling clay.

get a kit .. the clay magic one is cheap ..a couple bucks more for the mothers kit, and a couple more for the Meg's one, and it comes with a nice MF towel ..

I think a couple of the online detail suppliers sell the clay by itself, like Autopia
and Autogeek, but it's probably going to end up costing as much as a kit at Autozone, etc.

Yeah this is what made me get the meguiars kit rather than ordering the zaino ones
