VFN Fiberglass - WS6 hood ... please post pics ...
The VFN WS6 hood is one of the "finalists" in my search for a ram air hood...
I'd like some feedback on this hood...
1. How does it fit?
2. Does heat from the sun affect the fit?
3. Does all the hardware fit properly?
4. Does it vibrate bounce or shake while driving?
I'd like to see some pictures of the finished product, painted and installed.
(Every time I try a search, it times-out! Sorry)...
P.S. ... I did see this related thread... https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearance-detailing/566480-ws6-hood-help.html
.

I checked out your link to VFN Test Fit. It looks pretty good. I'm looking at several different options. (Factory WS6 from dealer isn't one of them!!! )...
So far I think VFN looks like it has the best fit of the aftermarket hoods that I like...
I've ruled out several because they don't have the factory look that I like...

ASCD also makes a nice WS6 hood. I had a VFN on a previous 2000 Trans Am. Here are several pics:

It fit okay, didn't have to be modified. I felt the edges were a tiny bit thicker than the factory hood though, it sat just a hair higher than a factory one. Quality was very nice though, and it uses factory WS6 grilles too.

From this picture (from 20 feet away) it looks very nice. Hard to see any imperfections in the fit lines.
Still debating, but I do like this one.
Do you have a recommendation for a WS-6 hood?
