custom paint job what prices are u guys paying in general for a custom one color paint job with some type of graphics. for example paint the car about the same as the som with gray flames going down the hood fender and doors. i am just looking for ball park ideas.

Prices of paint and stuff seemed to have gone really up in price in just a year. Like the previous person said between $2000 and up. I paid $1500 for my flame job back in 2002 and he was cheaper then most. Now just to paint my hatch I got a price of $500 but luckily a guy who does the detailing for all the salespeople at work is doing it for $300. When I had my driver's side door reflamed because of someone keying it last April it cost $500 for just that! He charged $75 for custom work

id expect 3000 for a custom paint. it all depends on what is done.
if ur just doin the outside with some flames itll be cheaper then doin outside/flames/door jams/etc
best thing is to go around a find a good shop and talk to them..
