Defroster Messed Up After Tinting
I got my back window tinted and the guy had some trouble getting it to act right. To make a long story short, lines 3-7 and the bottom one no longer work.
There are no apparant breaks after very close inspection.
Anybody else had this issue? How did it resolve?
A dealership said it would likely be a remove and replace for the entire back glass since there were no obvious breaks. I'd think that many lines to repair would be fertile ground for even more screw-ups.
Any thoughts?
Thanks...

Yep a few of my defroster lines blew out too. Course I got mine tinted in the summer so I didnt notice anything until the following winter. Yes it sucks, and yes its probably not even worth trying to fix it. I pretty much learned to live with it even though it DOES suck, I suppose if you found one at a junkyard you could try using it, just an idea. My issue now is I want to have my rear window retinted and Im scared to remove the tint because I might kill some more lines.
