Sounds a lot like the descriptions I've read of Collinite. I've not used either, so I won't comment one way or the other, but I'd be hesitant to use anything that sounds that hard to remove.

That's just me, though.

I wouldn't use any "unknown" car care products especially coming from ebay.
Zaino, 3M, Meguiars, and Mothers only!

Try it on a beater car first though if you are still interested in it. If it's clear there, then it's your call.
