If a hot chick asks me to sit or lean on my car I say a simple phrase. "No problem let me feel your *** and anything else that touches the paint and if I approve you can sit all you like. If you don't want to let me cop a feel then no". Other then that I don't even touch my own paint. When I shut the door I use a tissue to close it and then let it fly with the breeze. When I open the door it is by the handle only. Same thing for the hood. I admit I daily drive my car but damnit I try so hard to make it look good and i'll be damned if some **** who doesn't know the amount of work it takes will be putting anything including his breath on my car. Now if I can just get the man upstairs to quit playing games with me ill be in business. God hates me and put's a rain cloud only over my car whenever I wash it. I swear around here we will all die of a drought if I didn't wash my car.

Tissue every time you shut the door wow I just use one finger on the rubber part where the window meets the door to shut the door on my TA.

In general I frown on people leaning on my car though.

Come on, guys...they're F-bodies, not Ferrari's

But, w/ that said, I don't let fat, ugly, or fat and ugly people lean against it. Strangers are prohibited from all physical contact. But if it's a close friend, or a really hot girl, or myself, sure...

You know I just thought about me using that tissue and I think it is a little obsessive and perhaps I should learn to just use a few fingers on the door handle. If the freaking windows on these things didn't break everytime you push on them to close your door I would use the window. Those are easier to maintain then my paint and a hell of a lot cheaper.

man u all sound awesome not wanting to lean on peoples cars.....here in laredo if u ask someone to not lean on your car....they will start saying you are stuck up and that u think your car is the ****...they cant be humble and acknowledge that u have spent alot of time and money on your car for someone to just scratch it very easily....i myself do not like people leaning on my car...nor do i like giving people rides cause no matter how many times i ask them to not slam my door they still do!!

i cant say i dont have that habbit of leaning on cars cause here is laredo it like a automatic reaction that is u stop walking and there is a car near by u MUST! lean against it...its in our blood or something but yes it is a very bad habit

I remember when I was at Englishtown, my cousin was leaning against a camaro and thought it was mines, he got the words "don't lean on my car" by the owner. My car was right behind his in the staging lane. Ooops.

That's one thing that I can't stand, usually happens when I give a very good looking girl a ride and then BAM slams the door like it's the vault to Ft. Knox. Makes wanna punch em in the FACE!!!

i was at a car show and these little kids came up and one of them put both his nasty hands on my door and was looking in at the dash. he was just kind of standing there with his fingers draped on the door. after a minute or so and he didnt remove them...i decided that since i was within range, i bleeped the alarm at him... he got the point...i still had to go over and use qd on the door cause he left 2 perfect greasy hand prints

oh and speaking of doors, if your gonna close the door, and the window is down, touch the weather strip, or the door handle, not the freaking door, every time someone rides in my car i find hand prints all over the door

i also have a 1:18 die cast model of my car at shows sitting over the hood release latch under the hood, and sometimes i see people opening its doors or the hood or what not thats one of the reasons i keep it screwed to the base, so some dumb kid doesnt take it and start pushing it along the ground (or the car) or something... i guess at least if they touch that, they won't touch the real one, but still, ugh....

I put my hands all over the door when I close it, and attempt to hit car parked next to me when I open it. j/k

Seems like everyone in this thread has darker colored cars. I know everytime I let somebody ride in my car you can see grease everywhere, including the t-tops.

Gotta love Zaino.

When I catch people doing it, I slit their throats and smile as their blood beads up nicely on my freshly Zainoed paint.

is that too graphic?
