would it be cheaper to get it reupholstered or get a new seat? suggestions?

Seriously tho, go find a local upholstery shop & ask'em their opinion.
I had a repair done to my old '93 T/A on the side bolster & it was less than $100 if I remember right.

I'm betting he put something really heavy, like a 40" projection TV, right on his seat and drove it to his new apartment.

Thats how my drivers seat is. I wore some shorts with a messed up zipper in the back and it tore up my seat

Damn, I was told it would be in the upper 300's to replace the seat bottom in my Camaro.

If that is from a trans am seat, and the color is ebony...I might have a replacement seat bottom I could sell you rather cheap. I would need to know what seat that is though.

yeah it's from a trans am, i dont know the color(it's not black). it's the driver's seat

His sig shows'98 TA A4.
Wasn't it 'Graphite' back in '98?
Or was it called ebony back then also?
I know the early 4th gens were a bit more of a dark gray, or 'graphite'.
