What do you think of this idea?

I have a pewter SS with all black interior. What do you appearance gurus think about swapping out the seats and the door panels for tan or pewter ones? I can't really find much pewter interior, but the tan is easy enough. Is there much difference?

The ebony interior looks much better than tan interior for a pewter car IMO. Madice on here has done some trim pieces in pewter with the seat inserts done in pewter as well. It looks good, you should check out his profile/pics.

I saw them. I guess I just like the look that my buddy's Hugger Orange '99 SS has with its white seats and white door panels. I figured it would be a neat variation of that.

I think it might look kinda cool if you left the ebony seats, but painted the dash, console, and part of the door panels pewter. I have seen some painted interiors that look awesome, and I think that the ebony/pewter color combo would be sweet!

i say keep the ebony interior, but use pewter highlights, like maybe some seat inserts, part of the door panels, maybe something on the dash, seat piping you know stuff like that

How do I go about doing the seat inserts? New cloth? Interior paint? I'm not sure how to go about it, but I'd love to.

I've seen a pewter Z28 with tan interior and i think the ebony looks way better.

I think pewter is ugly personally, less pewter the better. Keep it black.

Well, I have to say the spray painting the plastic trim pieces looks trashy. I know a lot of guys like the one guy's paint job, but I think it's just too ghetto for me. I'm talking the actual trim pieces, or just the leather, so it doesn't look like I painted stuff.
