Why Carbon-Fiber?
Why Carbon-Fiber? Just wondering why people on here like carbon fiber so much? I read all the time about CF overlays for the interior pieces, FRC's, and hoods. Dont get me worng I know CF is light weight but I personally think it looks like crap. 
Nothing is worse that seeing an unpainted CF hood, shifter ****, or anythings else made to look like that.
Now when CF is done right, like the 04 ZO6 vette with the hood painted and just a stripe showing through or fenders painted to match the car thats cool in my book. But most people put this crap all over their parts too say it's lighter, can you say "rice."
This is just my openion, but wanted to know why everyone likes it so much. Anyone else feel the way I do? Or am I the tard?

lmao damn straight. I remember on cz28.com there wa a post about a guy with I think ac amaro? may ahve bbeena firebird, but anywho. the entire front end was a custom molded carbon fiber clip. it was purple and bare c/f with so called "fart cannons" but my god it was very unique which is what im all about
