On my '92 Vert I have a Viper alarm with a motion sensor and shock sensors (cranked all the way up) and it pages me when it gives a warning or goes off.

If you have the owner's manual to your car it says how to turn it up. If I'm not mistaken the shock sensor is on the passenger rear wheel well. You'll have to take the trim panel off to get to it

heres what you do, get the a needle and hid it under the emblem so the tip would be where the guy would have to put his fingers, he gets poked then leave a little note behind it that says welcome to the world of HIV, should scare the pants off the guy.

sounds like a good way to get ur windows busted out and possible shot... but still pretty damn funny...

about a year ago i went to my moms house to install some new plumbing fixtures for her... so after that i ended up going to a movie and left my tool box on the passengers seat (i came out side and some jerkoff had broke in and stole it (over $500 in tools that i have collected many were specialty tools)

i am kinda lucky that i had an aftermarket alarm and i think when it went off they just grabbed what they could and ran... i had a 7" flip out monitor(alpine no cheap stuff here) 6disk cd changer, 2 10" subs, 2 amps, xbox, power cap, and inverter that were in 2 custom made box's.... i no longer have that camaro and i didnt put most of that stuff in my new one (i dont need the "boom-boom" since i listen to pure american metal

although i wouldnt mind putting in one ten in that small cubbyhole in the back for double bass

that sucks, and sad to think that it was most likely somebody with a camaro, who though they were cool. Had my turn signal covers stolen not to long ago. Amazing to think that people can't get it for themselves so they steal from somebody who can.

That really sucks big time. I hate people that cant respect others stuff....just downright low! Last year on my birthday I went to go out with my boyfriend to celebrate and someone had keyed my car during the night . I had to have the door reflamed but thankfully the insurance covered the $500 in damages. After that I got a Proximity sensor which works great...almost too sensitive though so I have to reset it one of these days. It goes off when someone gets near your car then goes off again if someone enters the car like through a window. Mine goes off if you walk by it or if the neighbors get in their car

correct. however, if some good sumaritan sees it going off with the theif or whatever, they'll walk over to it or at least see the guy/gal. i've had a number of people inform me that my alarm was set off, and one time, a nice guy saw someone near my car (peeking in it while it was going off) and basically chased him away. there are good people out there, as well as bad... and when the alarm goes off, it gets everyone's attention.

there is a vibration sensor above the rear passenger well. you have to take off the trim piece (as if you're replacing your hatch speakers) and it's a little black box about the size of a playing card. there is a white **** that sticks out from it, and when u turn it, u change the sensitivity of the sensor. there is an LED that shows u the sensitivity, so it makes things easy. it's a VERY easy task.

i hope this helps!

Im going to turn mine up too! Just think they will be sporting some new z28 emblems arround town and someone will steal from them + maybe something else from there car. When they do that **** like that it will come back to them. Just sucks that it had to happen to you though.

yea, i think turning the sensitivity up was a great idea! i've actually turned it down just a hair, because it would even go off when somebody closes their door next to the car lol. i think it's nice tho, because it lets everyone around the car know that it's armed and ready. i don;t care if it's annoying. i'd rather it go off when it doesn't need to, rather than not go off in an emergency.

Oh, it's going to come back to them... Hell, it may take a year to spot the car, but it's going to come back to them.
