Default And this is why we don't have nice things...

Because people steal them Someone stole my 1974 Style Z28 emblems off my car while in a movie theater today... I was VERY pissed but I am calming down.

To top things off it was on what would have been my dad's 50th birthday (he passed 6 years ago)... People suck!

As soon as I saw that someone sold CME tips on ebay for 1300 I've been wondering if some maniac-douche will run up to my car with a sawzall while I'm away.

that's why i went in the rear hatch and changed the sensitivy of the stock alarm all the way up. every little vibration sets it off. it gets kind of annoying when it goes off in the parking lot just because someone shut their door next to me. but i figure it's worth it going off at every little thing, rather than not going off when i really need it to. plus, it lets people know that the car is on full alert and ready to go off.

it's too bad that someone stole your emblems. i hope everything turns out ok.

When's the last time anyone saw someone do anything about a car alarm going off? When people hear them, they ignore them anymore. They're pretty much only helpful if they are within earshot of the owner themself so they could come out and pummel the person stealing stuff.

I thought he was referring to an aftermarket alarm, as far as I know my 98 Z doesnt have a shock sensor, You can rock the car back and forth with it on and it does nothing until you open the doors.

the shock sensor sensitivety control is a **** on a little black box where the spare tire/jack is.. you have to peel a peice of white protective tape off thats wrapped around the **** and then turn it clockwise i beleive(correct me if im wrong) and youre good to go!

Sorry to hear that man....that SUX!

I was at the Muscle Car Nationals show earlier this year. 3-day indoor show and someone stole my valve-stem caps.

Someone just stole my friends WS6 emblem off his car about a month ago.

People SUCK.......BUT I'm not going to not drive my car just because something MIGHT happen to it.

It's the name of the game....people get jealous of you because you have nice stuff (never mind that you work your @$$ off for it).
