HONEYCOMBS..are they tinted some years?
Some of the Honeycomb tail lamps I have been seeing for sale, are right after the reflector part of the lens, which is not tinted. (that part is right next to the diamond reverse lens)
Why are they like that? Must have been off the darker cars>?

There were some production issues at one point from what i understand, my friend had to replace his left housing three times before he was sent one that was the same darkness as the right, something with just how they were made they came out darker.

really? well is it also due to what he said, with the condensation? Because there are some Ebay peeps selling the "dark" style ones. And best yet, they are deemed "NEW." I just never seen a pair togehter, in person, of the dark ones. Mine are bright *** red all over. But now that I am in the market for another set "to have just in case" they seem to be technical difficulties in the shade.

I just replaced my dark one ...care to buy it?? Mine was leaking though and not sure of where but thats what made mine really dark.
