Default Phantom gauge pics at night... anyone?

Anyone have any pictures of phantom I or II gauges lit up at night? Anyone put different color lights in the regular phantom gauges? Is it possible to put a different color bulb in them?

Hey man.. I have some so-so pics of my triple gauge pod. All Phantom gauges. I now have a FULL set of Phantoms in my dash, but no night shots yet. I could probably get them for ya if you wanted. I use amber 194 bulbs in all my gauges...just because I like how it looks. Matched the stock gauges fairly close. These are in a thirdgen bird by the way... Hope this helps ya out, and if you want more let me know (have 5" speedo and tach, w/ 3/16 supporting gauges now)

daytime...

nighttime...

It's all about putting the LED bulbs in those. Makes it look a lot better than the regular bulb and colored cover.

It would be neat to see what led's inside would look like.. especially if the red was close to matching the trans am stock lighting...

Red bulbs seemed TOO red to me. In my 87, the orange bulbs seemed to match better. But maybe red would look better in the newer 4th gens.

Anyway... I tried orange LED bulbs. The 194 style LED that have like 4 LEDs on a board. It just didnt seem to light as well as a bulb. Like the LED light was just hitting the back of the gauge, and the bulbs filled the gauge with light. They just looked better in my opinion. Now that I have full autometer instrumentation, I should give the LEDs another try maybe. Just to see. Might look good.
