just wondering if anybody has done this. my gf has a 95 camaro with the stock salad shooters and actually likes the look of them. she asked if she could get them polished, or with powdercoated black with a polished lip. has anybody ever done anything like this to their camaro rims?

pretty easy job... just take them to a local machine shop and polish them...

... but hey whatever floats your boat. im sure powdercoat will make them look a lot better.

 

i know how to powdercoat, and polish her rims. im just wondering if they'll look halfway decent when complete. idk what she like so much about her stock rims.

I did it (polished) to my '93 years ago. They looked great. Kinda hard to tell from the pics but, here you go:

salad shooters, j/k- kinda. Be sure to post some pics if you go ahead with the project. I've never seen coated salad shooters, or polished for that matter.
