I'm calling BS till I see some pics of the damage. I actually did bottom out a stock suspension (had 160,000 hard miles on it so it was sitting about as low a pro kit) 93 z28 and the entire frame hit the pavement but the tranny never touched. It's almost impossible to hit the thing the way the y-pipe and crossmemebers are aranged.

i love how someone would actually think im bullshitting about $2,000 of damage, it might have not been caused from the bottoming out but i know for a fact it did some damage because after i bottomed out i pulled over and there was leaking..im sure it only effected it just a bit but im pretty sure that's what caused it all to loosen up to the point of it dragging under my car

I say that maybe you have a prokit but your shocks suck. from what I have read, stock shocks and lowering kits dont mix well

I've got a hotchkiss 1.5" drop and I scrape on every damn thing because my y-pipe is really low. My driveway is angled steep too so every time I go out I need to go sideways and slow out of my own driveway. That is the reality of driving a lowered f-body, unless you could give a crap about scraping off the nose. I have to figure out different routes sometimes, and sometimes I can't even go where I want to go, but damn does it look good

price you pay my man, either deal with it or take off the drop.
