Back on topic... I think this bumper:

...really bugs me because they mounted the light bar IN the bumper as opposed to slightly recessed under the hood like on the real KITT

Not to hijack a thread, but bills were starting to pile up.

I completed my Knight Rider conversion with a loan in August 2003. Had to live on credit cards for a little bit.
Got engaged (I.E. Ring payment.) in Oct. 2004.
Bought my LS1 in Feb. 2005.
Married Sept. 2005.
Sold Conversion in June 2006.
Baby due Feb. 2007.

It just wasn't possible yet to have two toy cars.

Plus I wanted to put money into the 2000.

Anyways, I can see what you're saying. I think there is just too much bumper underneath if the scanner was lined all the way up to the hood. If you look at my bumper, you can see it's a lot shorter nose. The LT1 bumper is kinda big so centering the scanner probably helped the overall look.

that is awesome, and the work for the dash might be worth the 2.3k, . . NOT the overhead console, . .

I like it only on a black car, If it were any other color it wont look as cool. If my LT1 was black I would buy it. anyone have a pic of a LS1 with a Scanner?

KITT is a thirdgen, not a 4th gen, keep your bumper, get a v8..

if i were to buy this i wouldnt be aiming towards a KITT, i would put my intercoolers where the foglights are and cover it in honeycomb grill or mesh. i agree, till the next movie comes out KITT is a 3rd gen. maybe still when the movie comes out. i dont want a kitt i just thought it was a cool product. and i have a few v-8s already lt1's and ls1's alike
